our story began
Carson’s Crew began in 2014 when Carson Domey and his family created their walk team for Boston Children’s Hospital’s Walk for Kids. The world-class care from Boston Children’s Hospital Carson received for a rare form of Crohn’s Disease inspired him to want to give back to the hospital.

Following our first walk, Carson’s Crew annually wore their signature yellow t-shirts with the message “When Life Hands You Lemons, Make a Difference” a saying that the Domey’s took to heart.

Each year, the Carson’s Crew team grew, comprised of family, friends, classmates, and even some of Carson’s doctors and idols, raising even more money than the prior year. Over the course of five years, the team raised $150,000 for Boston Children’s Hospital and created countless great memories each year.

In 2019, Carson’s Crew was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in hopes of broadening our impact and working to improve physical and mental health outcomes by harnessing the power of innovation, education, and advocacy.
