Carson Domey Speaks at American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Walk

On November 4th, Carson had the opportunity to be a keynote speaker at the Central Texas American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Walk at the Texas State Capitol. The walk gathered over 800 people from the Central Texas region to come together to fundraise for the foundation’s regional chapter. Carson, who is on the board of directors for the organization, shared his personal story of being impacted by the passing of a close friend due to suicide. In his remarks, he discussed the importance of advocacy in striving to improve the mental health system in the United States.
