Carson's Crew and Mary Christie Institute Partner to Launch the Coalition for Student Wellbeing
At Carson’s Crew, our mission has always been to make a difference in people’s lives through innovation, education, and advocacy. Today, we’re thrilled to announce an exciting step forward in that mission: the launch of the Coalition for Student Wellbeing. This initiative, made possible through a strategic partnership and grant from the Mary Christie Institute, will focus on amplifying student voices in mental health advocacy and creating healthier campus environments across the nation.
Our support of the Coalition for Student Wellbeing represents an evolution of our mission to meet the growing need to support innovators in all forms who are working to address this issue. Amid the growing complexities college students face today, from academic pressures to the impacts of social media in an increasingly digital world, working to improve mental health is incredibly prevalent. We believe these challenges demand an equally powerful response – one that centers student perspectives in policymaking to ensure their needs are understood and met.
Thanks to the support and shared vision of the Mary Christie Institute, a leader in college mental health, we’re creating an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between students and decision-makers. Through the Coalition for Student Wellbeing, we’ll work to engage college students from diverse backgrounds, providing them with the platform to share their voices and advocate for initiatives that foster wellbeing and mental health on campuses across the United States.
Carson’s Crew is honored to have this opportunity to support and house the coalition and is committed to ensuring the coalition has the resources and tools necessary to drive real change. As the Coalition’s work develops, we look forward to sharing updates and showcasing the individuals at the forefront of this initiative.
